Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to check out my about page! As you can see from the photos below, I love my job! I consider it a huge honour to be asked to be apart of a couples wedding day or a loved ones funeral.

My background as a Husband, a Father, a Teacher and a Musician just seem to all point me in this direction. I’m so glad I took the chance, relinquished my permanent teaching position to pursue my passion!

Before I became a Celebrant, I worked as a wedding musician for about 10 years part time and saw first hand how much of an impact a Celebrant can have. I kept seeing stale, boring, wordy, services that just seemed to be the same as the last one, just with the couples name changed. I felt compelled to offer something different!

When you’ve seen as many weddings as I have you learn that the ceremony sets the tone for the ENTIRE day. I decided to become Celebrant back in 2022 so I could give couples like you the chance to have a relaxed, light-hearted, stress-free celebration.

Ryan is a brilliant choice if you want to provide your guests the best of both worlds by combining a live acoustic set with a professional DJ. I had provided Ryan a list of around 20 songs we wanted and asked him to use his experience to fill in the gaps based on the overall mood. We agreed the running order for the party in the amazing Lakeside facility at “The Link” Coffs Harbour. Ryan delivered a brilliant live set when the guests arrived through a buffet service provided by “The Spare Chef” and some speeches. We had a few fireworks from “C D Pearson Pyrotechnics”, and from that point on, Ryan made the party really take off. He delivered above and beyond my expectations, was versatile, and managed to keep the dance floor full throughout the evening by reading the energy in the room and adapting when needed. Ryan was a key element to a memorable birthday celebration. If you want a capable, professional, flexible and friendly MC / Live Singer / DJ for your special event you won't go wrong with Ryan.
